Cheeky Tiki Cider

“What a fantastic place to visit, the owners are fantastic, great ciders, wines and port selection, and a great way to spend an afternoon with a tour and tastings”.

That’s what visitors are saying after they visit Cheeky Tiki Cider. Birthed from a trip to Hawaii, owners Zoe and Josh wanted more than a desk job. So they snapped up a Childers orchard and took a leap of faith, believing in Ohana Winery, based in East Bundy. Their point of difference is that their boutique cider is made from 100% Australian-grown apples, whereas other ciders are made from imported apple concentrates. And on your next tour with us, you can experience the flavour difference firsthand at their cellar door. Tastings are free, but the best way to enjoy a full experience is with a generous tasting paddle of all the favourites.

Feeling peckish, then The Orchard Table Cafe, which is part of Macadamia Australia, serves coffee and treats. Plus if you’ve run out of produce, buy some while you’re there, so when you get home after your half-day tour with us, you can cook up your delicious and fresh local produce.

Bundaberg Rum Distillery

The ambition and determination of searching for more options then turned into what is now known as Bundy Rum. Synonymous all over the world, Bundaberg is the beating heart of Bundaberg Rum, and it’s here that you can explore the history, including a distillery tour, tasting, or if you are feeling adventurous, there’s a blend your own rum experience. Visitors get to witness what goes on behind the doors of the worldwise famous Bundy Rum, and we can get you there. Ask us how!

Flying High Bird Park

Located just north of Childers, at Apple Tree Creek, is the Flying High Bird Park. Over the years, it has undergone an enormous transformation where locals return and offer rave reviews. As you enter, you are immediately surrounded by free-flying birds that you can hand feed, and that will provide you with many photo opportunities.

As you progress through the park, you will discover little nooks filled with novelty items, decor, and other animals in larger yards. Flying High Bird Park will certainly leave you “flying high” due to the wonderful family-friendly atmosphere and experience.

If you’d like to charter a group tour, Stewart & Sons can get you there. Ask us how.
