As such, here is a story about John and Raelene’s custom charter. They told us what they wanted, and we did the rest.
Firstly, they jumped on our charter page and filled in the form. Shortly after, we gave them a quote. They then rustled up family and friends, as the charter was to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, and they wanted to be surrounded by loved ones. Their aim was to entertain everyone, from the littlies to the adults.
Our bus arrived at their chosen pick-up destination. From there, everyone was briefed on covid-19 practices, then they stepped aboard one of our newest coaches. Inside they found comfortable and spacious seats, DVD players, and USB chargers in each chair. Then we took off to their first stop. The Flying High Bird Park at Apple Tree Creek. The aim was to keep the kids entertained. After spending a few hours at the bird park, the next stop was the Paragon Theatre in Childers.
We had arranged for a family-friendly movie with all the trimmings you would expect from a theatre, such as popcorn, drinks and snacks galore. With complete monopoly in the theatre, all John and Raelene’s guests were able to sit anywhere they liked. They could even explore the art deco theatre and numerous movie posters.
Next, it was onto lunch. The Rusty Gate was the perfect backdrop and foodie experience that catered for all appetites. With bellies full of goodness, it was time to be chauffeured to the many wineries that Childers has to offer.
First port of call was at Vintners Secret. The kids could swim in the pool while the adults sampled the wines and enjoyed snacks from the cafe. After cooling off, it was onto Hill of Promise Winery and Cellar Door. Here the adults were in their glory, once more in grape and wine heaven. This time taking some goodies home for later on. And they avoided having to drink and drive thanks to our Stewart & Sons Coaches custom charter.
The drive back from Childers to Bundaberg was then complete when family members toasted to John and Raelene, wishing them another 25 years of marriage and health.
On arriving back at their chosen drop-off destination in Bundaberg, all of the guests thanked us as they departed the coach. They mentioned how grateful they were to have all the family and friends together and that they truly could relax and enjoy each other’s company because we took care of all the details.
As you can read, the day was a huge success for everyone. And some even started to think about and plan their own custom charter, stating that they didn’t know Bundaberg had this option. But they sure were glad to find out they, too, could book a charter to their liking.
