What is STAS?

The School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS) is a support program designed to assist those students who live more than 4.8km away from their choice of High School or 3.2km away from their Primary School. The program allows eligible students to opt-in for bus travel, which the Qld Government provides.

Who can apply?

If students are eligible, parents and guardians can register up to five (5) children. You must apply early as the assessment process can take a few weeks. So please be prepared ahead of time so your child/ren can attend school under the STAS program, which in turn assists your family life.
